My father Erwin, also a passionate cyclist, first inspired me to start cycling. At the age of five, I tried my first race on a mountain bike, but I later switched to skiing. As a skier, I continued to ride my bike for crosstraining, until I sustained a major crash on skis at the age of 15. At that point, I decided to give up skiing to focus completely on cycling. This focus paid off, and as a junior, I built a good reputation that enabled me to make the leap to a domestic continental team. Following three successful years on two different continental Austrian teams, my childhood dream came true: I am part of the UCI WorldTour with BORA-Hansgrohe.
Through my website, I’ll share insights from my career and an inside perspective on the thrills of my life as a pro. Please join me on this journey!
